Mindful Salad Workshop
Learn to taste your food, one green at a time.
The Mindful Salad Workshop is a guided tasting experience for adults and families that blends food education with sensory discovery. This workshop invites participants to slow down, notice flavor more intentionally, and experience greens in a completely new way.
This is not just about eating salad. It is about learning how to taste.
What happens in this workshop
In this one-hour workshop, participants explore key flavor elements by tasting bitter, sweet, and sour separately before moving into individual leafy greens.
Each green is tasted one at a time and observed for its flavor, texture, and overall sensory experience. Participants use a tasting sheet to rate what they notice and compare how each leaf brings something different to the table.
By the end of the workshop, most people leave surprised by how flavorful greens can be. Many say they have never really tasted a salad before. Not like this.
Who this workshop is for
The Mindful Salad Workshop is designed for adults, families, and curious eaters ages 10 to 100 who want to experience food more thoughtfully.
It is especially well-suited for people who want to slow down, explore flavor, and discover how different greens each bring their own personality to the plate.
What’s included
Each participant receives a tasting sheet handout to guide the experience and record what they notice throughout the workshop.
